Why not expand your creativity through the art of Wagashi making and let it blossom into something new? Join our exclusive Wagashi workshop, taught by skilled artisans from Baika-tei, a long-established Wagashi shop in Kagurazaka, Shinjuku. Wagashi Workshop In this class, you will create two types of high-quality Jo-Namagashi—a premium category of Namagashi (Japanese sweets with more than 30% moisture content)—under the guidance of a skilled Wagashi artisan from Baika-tei. After crafting your own Wagashi, you can enjoy them with matcha in a traditional tea room. With a Wagashi-making kit provided, even children aged 10 and above can participate. The class size is small (up to 10 people), ensuring detailed instruction. Through this experience, we hope you will gain a closer connection to Japanese culture. Details: - Exclusive Private Tour - Maximum number of participants: 5 persons - Children are welcome. Included: - Wagashi-making experience led by a skilled Wagashi artisan. - Production of 2 Jo-Namagashi (high-grade Japanese sweets). - Enjoyment of the Wagashi you made yourself, along with matcha, in a traditional tea room. - English-speaking local guide. - Flexible tour planning in English. Not Included: - Transportation costs (can be arranged at an additional cost). Note: The meeting place will be decided upon consultation with the customer. Hotel pickup is also available for an additional fee. The basic participation is based on a group of up to 5 people. Even if your group has fewer than 5 participants, you can still join by paying the group rate for 5 people. Booking on a per-person basis is available for 6 to 10 people.


Cancellation Policy

Date of cancellation request received by us 8 or more days prior to the Experience Tour: No charge 2 to 7 days prior to the Experience Tour: 50% cancellation charge of the total cost 1 day prior and on the day to the Experience Tour: 100% cancellation charge of the total cost No show or after the commencement of the Experience Tour: 100% of the total cost In the event of a cancellation request, any refund will be remitted to your bank account after deducting the fees: cancellation charges as applicable and bank handling/wire transfer charges. It will likely take about 3-4 weeks to process under normal circumstances. The date and time of cancellation are based on Japan Standard Time only when a notice is received by EDO KAGURA Corporation, regardless of when the customer sent the notice.
