- This tour is completely private; other groups will not join you. - Group size: 2-8 people. Would you like to experience the enchanting art of Ukiyo-e printing at Japan's oldest Ukiyo-e studio? Create your own Ukiyo-e masterpiece under the guidance of an authentic Ukiyo-e artisan and make an unforgettable memory that will last a lifetime. Included: - Explanation of how to appreciate ukiyo-e by artisans - Experience creating (printing) ukiyo-e (creating fans) at Takahashi Studio - One authentic ukiyo-e created by artisans (retail price around ¥20,000) - One fan and one book cover adorned with Ukiyo-e prints travelers have created - English-speaking local guide - Flexible tour planning in English - Garbage Bag Note: Transportation can be arranged at an additional cost. Not Included: - Food and beverage expenses - Transportation costs The meeting place will be decided upon consultation with the customer. Hotel pickup is also available for an additional fee. Insurance is included, and our guides are dedicated to ensuring your safety and a comfortable tour experience.
Cancellation Policy
Date of cancellation request received by us 8 or more days prior to the Experience Tour: No charge 2 to 7 days prior to the Experience Tour: 50% cancellation charge of the total cost 1 day prior and on the day to the Experience Tour: 100% cancellation charge of the total cost No show or after the commencement of the Experience Tour: 100% of the total cost In the event of a cancellation request, any refund will be remitted to your bank account after deducting the fees: cancellation charges as applicable and bank handling/wire transfer charges. It will likely take about 3-4 weeks to process under normal circumstances. The date and time of cancellation are based on Japan Standard Time only when a notice is received by EDO KAGURA Corporation, regardless of when the customer sent the notice.
