Thank you for your continued support of our traditional cultural experience tours. Starting from Tuesday, October 1, 2024, we will be adding a 10% consumption tax to our tour prices.
Previously, our company was classified as a tax-exempt business, but on September 11, we changed our status to a taxable business. This change is in response to the implementation of the Invoice System (Qualified Invoice Issuer Registration System).
The Invoice System itself started on October 1, 2023. However, because our business was primarily consumer-facing (B2C), there was no need for us to register under this system. Recently, however, our business with corporate clients (B2B) has increased, making it necessary for us to register under the Invoice System. As a result, we have transitioned from a tax-exempt to a taxable business.
As a tax-exempt business, we had set our prices without adding the 10% consumption tax in order to offer our traditional cultural experience tours at a more affordable price for travelers. Unfortunately, with our change to a taxable business, we now have no choice but to add the 10% consumption tax to our prices. We regret this necessity, but we kindly ask for your understanding as this change is due to the tax regulations.
We will continue to do our utmost to ensure that our traditional cultural experience tours provide the highest level of satisfaction to our travelers. We appreciate your continued support.
